The Summer Sandlot Series
**GIRLS ALLOWED** we will be playing baseball so pitching is different but I’m all for girls playing!!
This series will be for 4 weeks starting July 16, 3 times a week for 1 hour warm up, 1 hour practice and 2 hour scrimmage. We did this in Flagstaff last summer and it was incredible. The progression from this intense schedule made huge imoprovements in the players and we want to bring that opportunity to Williams. We are starting with double-headers on Sat, if that proves to be too much we will alter it to 1. The last Sat will be one game and then a Party.

The Showtime Baseball Series
**GIRLS ALLOWED**
This series will be from the end of Aug until Nov.
Showtime Baseball Series
A New Kind of Baseball League
The Showtime Baseball Series is a fast-paced, high-energy baseball experience inspired by the fun and excitement of Banana Ball.
This league is not affiliated with Banana Ball, but it brings a similar style of entertainment to the field with creative rules, nonstop action, player involvement, and plenty of opportunities for every athlete to put on a show.
Showtime Baseball combines competitive baseball with a fun, relaxed atmosphere designed to keep players moving and families entertained.
What Makes Showtime Different?
Traditional baseball can sometimes include long periods of standing around and waiting. Showtime Baseball is designed to keep the action moving.
Every player gets an opportunity to contribute and become part of the action.
Showtime Baseball Rules
Fast-Paced Games
Games are designed to move quickly with limited downtime between innings, pitches, and substitutions.
Everyone Hits
The entire lineup bats, giving every player consistent opportunities at the plate.
No Traditional Walks
A batter will not automatically receive first base after four balls. After four balls, a coach or designated pitcher will deliver a hittable pitch so the at-bat ends with the ball being put into play.
Kids play 4pm-6pm
Adults 7pm to around 9-9:30pm
One-on-One Showdown
Once per game, each team may call a one-on-one showdown.
During the showdown:
- The bases are cleared
- One pitcher faces one batter
- Only limited defenders remain on the field
- If the batter puts the ball in play, the batter continues running until the defense records an out or the batter scores
Extra Defender
Once per inning, the defensive team may place one additional player on the field for one batter.
Highlight Plays Are Encouraged
Players are encouraged to attempt diving catches, creative defensive plays, aggressive baserunning, and other exciting plays.
Entertainment Comes First
Players should support their teammates, celebrate great plays, interact with the crowd, and help create a fun atmosphere for everyone at the field.
More Than Just a Baseball Game
The Showtime Baseball Series is about more than wins and losses. It gives players the chance to build confidence, develop baseball skills, make decisions, and enjoy the game in a new way.
The goal is to create an experience that players and families look forward to every week.
Put on a Show
Whether a player is making a diving catch, hitting a big home run, stealing a base, or cheering from the dugout, everyone has a role in the Showtime experience.
Play Fast. Play Hard. Put on a Show.

** We will also look at creating an 11u team as well as long as we can get enough players. We want to create as much baseball opportunities for our community as possible.
Cost will depend on cost for uniforms and tournaments. Our goal is to make this affordable for as many as possible. We really don’t want money getting in the way of a great player and family.

FAQs
What age groups does the team serve?
Our program is designed for youth players within a specific age group based on USA Baseball guidelines. We focus on age-appropriate development, ensuring players are challenged while still having fun and building confidence.
How competitive is the program?
We are a competitive youth baseball organization focused on player development, teamwork, and growth. While we emphasize competing at a high level, we also prioritize learning the game the right way, sportsmanship, and long-term development over short-term results.
What is the time commitment during the season?
Players can expect regular practices during the week and games or tournaments on a couple weekends. Schedules are shared in advance so families can plan accordingly. We value commitment, but we also understand the importance of balance with school and family. We don’t plan on traveling any farther than about an hour away for scrimmages and 2 hours for a tournament. (Phoenix should be the farthest) We will also be hosting a tournament IN Williams as well.
What does the program focus on beyond baseball skills?
In addition to on-field skills, we focus on building character, accountability, confidence, and leadership. Our goal is to develop well-rounded young athletes who respect the game, their teammates, and themselves—on and off the field.
My child has not played competitive baseball before. Can he still join the team?
We encourage everyone to come tryout regardless of their experience in baseball.
